Toilets of Singapore

When travelling:

Have you ever found yourself in need of a toilet and can't seem to find any nearby? Especially if you're in Europe, and none are even available near you at no charge. And even when they do charge you, the toilet is dirty as a Ditch (one you might find common at football stadiums — ugh, yuck)?!

Even in Singapore:

When you really need the loo for number 2, man have you ever wished that there's a tool to find the most comfortable toilet for a peaceful doo-doo?

And that's exactly this app. The idea came from when I was calling my girlfriend who was on a business trip in the UK, and she really needed the WC. But she couldn't seem to find any. And I chanced upon: https://www.toiletmap.org.uk/, which actually did provide a solution for her. She managed to find a toilet in a mall on a certain level and relieve herself.

So I thought, wow, why is there nothing like this built in Singapore? Through interactions with peers and colleagues, many have the default that they'll just go to MRT stations, or shopping malls to find a toilet. Fair enough, but unwritten knowledge only gets acquired once you've acclimatised to Singapore's geography and how its built environment caters to the population.

Maybe this solution is for foreigners or visitors of Singapore in need, and I hope it reaches them. An added advantage is that this is seeded with data points from https://www.instagram.com/toiletswithbidetsg/?hl=en, which means users can filter for toilets with bidets and can have an even more delightful experience.

Go ahead, knock yourself out, try it and let me know how I can improve it.
